Additional Information: Fun, fun, fun! Snuggle, snuggle, snuggle! That's cute little Rochester in a nutshell. Mostly white with a striking black tail and some dark markings, Rochester displays the typical kitten playfulness, curiosity and silly antics you'd expect of a five month old and really enjoys playing with toys. He's interested in playing with the three resident female cats in his foster home too, but they are still slowly warming up to him. If he gets too close for their comfort and they growl or hiss, he'll just sit quietly or wander off to play; Rochester is not an aggressive kitty.

What Rochester is, is very loving and sweet. After playtime, this sweetie loves to cuddle up to his foster people and knead fuzzy blankets. In general he likes to be wherever people are and can be sweetly chatty at times. Once or twice he's tried to scratch the sofa but can easily be redirected to his cardboard scratcher. He enjoys Blue Buffalo tuna treats and is free fed wet and dry food.

Bring some special happiness into your life and meet with Rochester today!

If you are interested in meeting a cat, we require an adoption application. Visit www.citydogsrescuedc.org/adopt-a-city-kitty.html to apply. If a cat has "HAS APPLICATION" listed, they are still available to receive additional applications but also may be in the process of being adopted soon.

If a cat has "NEEDS FOSTER" listed, they are still available for adoption. Information about fostering and our current cat foster needs can be found here: www.citydogsrescuedc.org/foster-a-city-kitty.html

City Dogs Rescue is a foster based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. We focus on local adoptions in DC and the metro area of Maryland and Virginia. CDR has a thorough adoption process in order to find the best possible fit for each of our animals (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model).

Our cat adoption fee is $150 unless noted. Prior to arrival, all of our cats are spayed/neutered (unless specified) and given shots for Rabies, FVRCP, and Feline leukemia. They are microchipped and tested for FIV and FeLV. They are dewormed at least twice and given a health check by the vet.

We do our best to disclose all health records and known health conditions to adopters. Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations and health tests, but does not provide a comprehensive medical exam prior to adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDR & CK.  City Dogs Rescue & City Kitties is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us.
